How to Block TikTok on iPhone So It Actually Sticks
An age rating cap and a Never Allow entry hide TikTok for free. Deleting the app alone rarely lasts a week.
Screen Time hides TikTok on iPhone for free with an app rating cap and a Never Allow website entry, in under two minutes. It fails the way most self-managed blocks do: you set the passcode, so you can type it back in and reinstall whenever you decide you want the app back.
The free way: hiding TikTok with Screen Time
Open Settings, tap Screen Time, turn it on, choose This is My iPhone. Tap Content & Privacy Restrictions, switch it on. Tap Content Restrictions, then Apps, and set the age rating cap below TikTok's rating, which also hides Instagram, Snapchat and X since they carry the same or higher rating.
Then tap Web Content, Limit Adult Websites, and add tiktok.com under Never Allow to cover the browser version. Set iTunes & App Store Purchases, Installing Apps to Don't Allow so it cannot be reinstalled.
Why deleting the app alone does not stick

What happens if I lose the phone or reset it mid cool off?
